Today's printmakers, like their predecessors, continue to be infatuated with the uniqueness of other creatures with which we share our planet. The exhibition is not however, a collection of "wildlife prints," but rather a unique collection of prints which incorporate animal imagery. Each of the 30 works in the exhibition incorporates at least one member of the animal kingdom: birds, fish, and mammals frequently appear in unlikely contexts.
